Welcome to Tebo Italian Greyhounds & Classic American Shetland Ponies
My name is Kathleen Thibeault and I have been involved in showing and breeding horses all my life. It seemed a very natural progression when I purchased my first Italian Greyhound, Tattoo, in 1996. The grace and elegance of the horse was mirrored in the form of the IG. After much research, I purchased my first show dog in 2000. Through the help and guidance of friends and mentors, I feel I am ready to embark on my own breeding program. Mt commitment is to breed sound, healthy, even tempered Italian Greyhounds that are conformationally correct, as well as being the perfect bed warmer.
I have owned horses since 1968, along with my family. We have been involved with horses in pleasure, hunters, jumpers, equitation, endurance trail, and United States Pony Club. We have owned Westphalians, Thoroughbreds, Quarter Horses, Arabians, National Show horses, Tennessee Walking horses, grade horse and ponies. However we never had a registered Classic American Shetland until 2 years ago. When our children were small we struggled to find good ponies for them. Now we have found them; these are the best-kept equine secret!! They are the perfect equine for today’s adult or child who doesn’t have the time, space or energy to deal with a full sized horse. They are not the old pony of the past, but rather appear to look like a small Morgan or Arabian. They are perfect halter, driving and/or riding ponies. They are easy to handle, sweet, willing and beautiful. We specialize in pinto’s, most of ours are double registered with the American Pinto Horse Association. Look at our ponies, feel free to contact us at any time and take a look at our dogs: the Italian Greyhound, the best kept dog secret.
Come meet my extended family!!
